We are so grateful that you have come with a repentant heart, seeking forgiveness and strength from Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be forgiven and saved. We are promised in the WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).
First, let us address the sin of a lustful heart and immorality, especially on the internet. We must remember that lust and immorality are not only sins against our own bodies but also against God. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, we are told, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing and repenting of the sin of lust and immorality. We ask for Your complete forgiveness, knowing that Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to flee from sexual immorality.
Strengthen us through the power of the Holy Spirit to resist temptation and to live lives that glorify You. Help us to honor our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit, and guide us in the way of righteousness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
To go forth and sin no more, it is crucial to set boundaries and take practical steps to avoid temptation. This may include installing accountability software on your devices, seeking support from fellow believers, and immersing yourself in the Word of God. Remember, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Stay strong in the faith, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith, and through Him, we can overcome all temptations and live lives that honor God. We will pray for you and your journey towards purity and righteousness.
