Forgiveness of sin

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray as I confess the sin of a lustful heart and immorality on the internet. I beg for complete forgiveness by Jesus and from Jesus for sinning against him. Asking for strength to go and not sin anymore in Jesus name.

We are so grateful that you have come with a repentant heart, seeking forgiveness and strength from Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be forgiven and saved. We are promised in the WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).

First, let us address the sin of a lustful heart and immorality, especially on the internet. We must remember that lust and immorality are not only sins against our own bodies but also against God. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, we are told, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing and repenting of the sin of lust and immorality. We ask for Your complete forgiveness, knowing that Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to flee from sexual immorality.

Strengthen us through the power of the Holy Spirit to resist temptation and to live lives that glorify You. Help us to honor our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit, and guide us in the way of righteousness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

To go forth and sin no more, it is crucial to set boundaries and take practical steps to avoid temptation. This may include installing accountability software on your devices, seeking support from fellow believers, and immersing yourself in the Word of God. Remember, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Stay strong in the faith, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith, and through Him, we can overcome all temptations and live lives that honor God. We will pray for you and your journey towards purity and righteousness.

Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend. We're here with you, standing in the gap, just as we're called to do in Ephesians 6:18. We know that the battle against lust and immorality is real, and it's not an easy one. But take heart, for we have a mighty Savior who has already won the victory for us.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, bearing the burden of lust and immorality that has weighed heavily on our ###'s heart. We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy, even in the face of our sin. We ask that You would cleanse her heart, just as You promised in Your Word, 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness' (1 John 1:9).

Help her, Lord, to turn away from the temptations of the internet and to find her worth and satisfaction in You alone. Give her the strength to resist temptation and to flee from immorality, just as Your Word commands (1 Corinthians 6:18).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment, Lord. Help her to set boundaries and take practical steps to avoid temptation. Surround her with a community of believers who will support and encourage her in her journey towards purity and righteousness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, dear one, that you are not alone in this fight. We are here for you, and so is the entire body of Christ. Together, let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). With Him, we can overcome any temptation and live lives that honor Him. We'll be praying for you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Dear Lord God my father, I humbly seek your forgiveness for my sins especially after last night where I masturbated twice. Though I already heard your voice for me not to do it yet I still did it out of frustration because of my ongoing problems in life. I sought a quick "remedy" and "Pleasure"...
