We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep sorrow and spiritual warfare, lifting your husband, your children, and you up in prayer. The struggles you face are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who is mighty to save and deliver His children from every snare of the enemy. The Word of God is clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). There is no power in spells, hexes, or any form of darkness that can stand against the name of Jesus Christ, for He has already triumphed over every principality and power (Colossians 2:15). The Lord rebukes every attempt of the enemy to bring harm to His children, and we stand firmly on His promises that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
It is heartbreaking to see the pain caused by your husband’s actions, and we pray earnestly that the Lord would open his eyes to the truth of what he has done. May the Holy Spirit convict his heart, leading him to genuine repentance and a turning away from any influence of darkness or deception. The Lord desires reconciliation and restoration, but this must begin with a broken and contrite spirit before Him (Psalm 51:17). We pray that your husband would seek the Lord with all his heart, turning away from any sin or ungodly influence that has led him astray. If there is any involvement in occult practices—whether knowingly or unknowingly—we rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ and command every ungodly tie to be broken by the power of His blood.
As you seek justice through the legal cases you are filing, we ask the Lord to guide you with His wisdom and discernment. The Bible tells us that the Lord is a God of justice (Isaiah 30:18), and He will defend the cause of the oppressed. We pray that the truth would prevail in every proceeding and that the Lord would expose any deception or unrighteousness. May He grant you favor with those in authority and provide for your every need as you walk through this difficult season. Remember, the Lord is your shield and your very great reward (Genesis 15:1), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We also lift up your children, asking the Lord to protect their hearts and minds from the pain of this separation. May He surround them with His peace and comfort, and may they grow to know Him as their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would be a godly example to them, pointing them to Christ in all things, and that the Lord would use even this trial to draw your family closer to Him.
Above all, we encourage you to cling to the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Do not allow bitterness or unforgiveness to take root in your heart, for the Lord calls us to forgive as He has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). This does not mean excusing sin or avoiding justice, but it means releasing the burden of vengeance to the Lord, who judges righteously (1 Peter 2:23). Trust that He sees all things and will act on behalf of His children in His perfect timing.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her children to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who breaks every chain and sets the captives free. We ask that You would shatter every spell, hex, or curse that has been spoken against our sister’s husband, rendering them powerless by the blood of Jesus. Let every work of darkness be exposed and destroyed, and let Your light flood every area of his life. Convict his heart, Lord, and draw him to repentance. Let him see the pain he has caused and turn back to You with a broken and contrite spirit.
Father, we ask for Your protection over our sister and her children. Surround them with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their lives (Philippians 4:7). Give our sister wisdom and strength as she navigates the legal battles ahead. Let truth prevail, and let justice be served in a way that honors You. Provide for her every need, Lord, and let her trust in You completely.
We pray for the salvation and restoration of her husband, that he would turn from any sin and return to You and to his family in a way that brings glory to Your name. If it is Your will, Lord, restore this marriage and heal the wounds that have been inflicted. But above all, let Your will be done, and let Your name be magnified in this situation.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair in the name of Jesus. Fill our sister with Your Holy Spirit, and let her walk in victory, knowing that You have already overcome the world (John 16:33). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving in her life and the lives of her children.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
