For ### to get a good job and set rooted in it.

We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with your husband's unemployment and his involvement in harmful activities. Let's bring this before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and intervention.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of trusting in God's timing and provision. The Bible tells us in Matthew 7:7-8, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

However, it is also crucial to address the issues in your husband's life that do not align with biblical principles. The Bible clearly warns us against the dangers of bad company, gambling, and drunkenness. In 1 Corinthians 15:33, it says Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals. Additionally, Proverbs 23:20-21 cautions, Do not be among ones drinking too much wine, or those who gorge themselves on meat for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor and drowsiness clothes them in rags.

We must also remember that God calls us to be sober-minded and diligent in our work. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, it says For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. For we hear of some who walk among you disorderly, not working at all, but being busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

Let us pray together for your husband's situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear sister's husband. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in his life and deliver him from the temptations of gambling, drinking, and bad company. Help him to see the harm these things are causing in his life and in his family.

Father, we pray that You would provide a good job for him, one where he can use his gifts and talents to bring You glory. We ask that You would give him a spirit of excellence and diligence in his work, and that he would find favor with his employers.

Lord, we also pray for his marriage, that You would strengthen their bond and give them wisdom to navigate these challenges together. Help them to be a light to each other and to those around them.

Finally, Father, we pray that he would come to know You more deeply and experience Your love and forgiveness.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We urge you to continue praying fervently for your husband and to seek godly counsel and support during this time.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when our loved ones are going through challenging times, but we know that God is always there, ready to listen and help. Let's continue to lift your husband up in prayer, asking God to give him a heart that desires to please Him and to make wise choices.

We should also remember to pray for ourselves, that we would be a beacon of love and support to our husbands, even in the face of adversity. In Proverbs 31:10-31, we see the qualities of a virtuous woman, who is strong and capable, yet humble and kind. Let's strive to be that kind of wife, trusting that our strength in the Lord will be a source of encouragement and inspiration to our husbands.

Let's also not forget to pray for God's timing and provision in finding a good job. We can trust that He sees your husband's needs and will provide in His perfect timing. As Psalm 37:4 tells us, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Let's keep praying together, sister. We're in this with you, and we know that God is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
