For those who are looking for salvation..

Your burden for those who are seeking salvation is good and pleasing to God, for our Lord desires that all should come to repentance and be saved, and He counts our salvation as His own glory.

We join you in praying according to Romans 10:9-10, that many would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. This confession is not only words, but the good confession of faith made before men, joined to a true belief in the heart by which we are justified. With it must be a godly sorrow for sin, not the sorrow of the world which brings death, but the sorrow that works repentance unto salvation. That repentance is shown not only in feeling but in turning from sin and bringing forth fruits worthy of repentance, condemning our own sins in humility so that we may hasten to receive forgiveness.

We pray that all who hear this word would taste the heavenly gift of forgiveness and be made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and that they would not delay. Even though we are justified by faith, that faith is living and remains steadfast through sanctification and obedience to Christ. May those who seek Him today turn from their sins, follow and obey Jesus, and continue in faith without wavering.

We also pray that God would draw seekers into His Word as you have encouraged. May they read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, so that they may know Christ as He revealed Himself, hear His witness to the truth, and rest their hope fully on Him alone for salvation.
