For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in this beautiful proclamation of the gospel and we join you in lifting up every soul who is seeking salvation today.

We affirm what you have shared from Romans 10:9-10, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. This is the heart of the gospel, that salvation is not earned by our works but is the gift of God received through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. And in Romans 10:13, For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

You are right to encourage confession and turning from sin, for true faith brings repentance. As Jesus preached, we are called to repent and believe the good news. Acts 3:19 says Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. And 1 John 1:9 promises If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. To follow and obey Jesus is the evidence of a changed heart, for Jesus said in John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments.

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning with John, is wise counsel. The Gospel of John was written so that we may know who Jesus truly is, as John 20:31 says but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name. There we see that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and as he said in John 14:6, No one comes to the Father, except through me. And we are reminded in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and eternal life.

We pray together for all who are seeking today.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You for Your mercy and Your gift of salvation. We lift up every heart that is hungry and searching for You. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and give them faith to believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Forgive their sins as they turn from them and wash them clean by the blood of Jesus. Make them a new creation in Christ, as You promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Lead them to follow and obey Jesus all the days of their life, to grow in Your Word, and to walk in the new life You give. We pray they will begin in the Gospel of John and come to know Jesus deeply, and that they will find a Bible believing church where they can be baptized and discipled. We ask this in the precious and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We were encouraged to read your note and your desire for others to know Jesus and find real hope. Thank you for taking time to share that so plainly and for pointing people toward Him and toward His Word.

It means a lot when someone cares enough to not only speak about salvation but to invite others to open the Bible for themselves, especially the Gospels where they can meet Jesus directly. Starting in John as you suggested is a gentle and clear place to begin, and walking through Matthew, Mark and Luke alongside it helps that picture grow fuller over time.

We also hear your heart to see people not just hear but respond, to turn toward Christ and follow Him in daily life. That kind of transformation is a work God does in the heart, and we get to keep praying, keep sharing, and keep living faithfully while He draws people to Himself.

One simple next step we have found helpful is to stay connected with a local church family while you share with others, so you have fellowship and encouragement as you continue to point people to Christ.

Father, we thank You for this heart for the lost and for Your mercy that saves. We ask You to work in every heart that is seeking, to draw them to Yourself and give them faith to trust Jesus. Strengthen our brother or sister as they share Your love with others, and guide them as they continue to follow You. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is cause for rejoicing when any soul begins to seek the Lord, for it is a sign that the Spirit of God is at work. The word you have quoted is faithful and true, for with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. There is a due order here and a clear connection. Faith comes first in the heart, trusting alone in the Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified and whom God raised from the dead, and then confession follows with the mouth, openly avowing before God and before men what the heart has rested upon.

Take care to understand what true faith and true repentance are, for they are inseparable. No faith can be genuine but such as is consistent with hearty and sincere repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith. They come into the soul together, like twin graces born at the same hour. The one ejects sin as an evil tenant and the other admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart. One pulls down and the other builds up. Do not be content with a carnal repentance which is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature. True repentance is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart, and it gives God glory. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

You need not fear that your repentance must be perfect before you can be saved, or that your faith must be great in measure. There are degrees of faith and degrees of repentance, and the least faith saves if it is sincere, and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere, for it is repentance unto life. Little faith, if it begins and ends with Jesus, is true faith, and it is the gift of God. We do not rest upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers, or our likeness to Christ. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified. Right away from anything that comes from us we look to Jesus, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and the Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith.

Therefore let your confession be personal. One shall say, I am the Lord's. His faith must be his own faith, his repentance must be repentance of his own sin, his coming to Christ must be his own coming. With the mouth, say and say it unmistakably, I am a Christian, not because you are worthy, but because Christ is worthy and has promised that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish. And as you have begun well in turning from sin to follow and obey Jesus, remember that repentance lives as long as faith. You will need to believe and to repent as long as you live, not as a bitter bondage, but as sweet company on the way to glory.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, is wise. There you will see the glory of the Son of God and hear His own words, and faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Sincere faith treats all God's Word alike and rests upon Christ as He is revealed there.

May the Lord grant to every seeking soul now to believe with the heart and to confess with the mouth, to turn from sin and to trust only in Jesus. May He restore the joy of His salvation and keep you by His Spirit, waiting for the hope of righteousness by faith, till you see with your own eyes what great things grace can do.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank God for your burden for those who are seeking salvation and we join our prayers with yours for them.

It is true as the Scripture says in Romans 10 verses 9 and 10, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. This confession is not mere words, but a true turning from sin and a sincere faith that trusts in Christ alone for salvation, followed by a life of obedience to Him.

We pray that the Lord will draw many hearts to Himself, that He will grant repentance and faith to those who hear, and that those who confess Him will continue to walk with Him in obedience. We pray that God will give understanding and hunger for His Word to all who seek Him.

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning with the Gospel of John, is wise counsel, for there Christ is clearly revealed as the Son of God and Savior of the world. We pray that all who seek will take up the Scriptures, see Christ clearly, and come to know the great salvation celebrated in His death and resurrection.

May the Lord use your witness and prayers to bring many to salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord.
