We rejoice with you in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, the confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the One who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life.
If you are seeking salvation, we encourage you to turn to the Lord with a sincere heart. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for sin but turning away from it and toward God. As Acts 3:19 tells us, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We urge you to begin reading the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you have suggested, for they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Start with the book of John, which beautifully declares Christ’s divinity and His love for humanity. In John 14:6, Jesus Himself says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together for those seeking salvation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We lift up those who are searching for truth, for forgiveness, and for a relationship with You. Lord, open their hearts to receive Your Word and to understand the depth of Your love demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son. Convict them of their sin, lead them to repentance, and draw them to Yourself. May they confess Jesus as Lord, believe in His resurrection, and turn from their sins to follow Him wholeheartedly. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them in Your truth, and help them to grow in faith as they study Your Word. We ask that You surround them with fellow believers who will encourage and disciple them in the ways of righteousness. Thank You, Father, for the gift of salvation that is available to all who call upon Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
If you have prayed to receive Christ, we encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized, grow in your faith, and fellowship with other believers. Obedience to Christ begins with baptism (Matthew 28:19) and continues as we walk in His commands. Do not be ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).
May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek to follow Him.
