We rejoice that the path to salvation has been so clearly laid out in Scripture, and we stand with you in proclaiming the truth of Romans 10:9-10: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* This is the foundation of our faith—acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord, believing in His resurrection, and turning from sin to follow Him wholeheartedly.

Yet we must also emphasize that salvation is not merely a one-time confession but the beginning of a transformed life. Jesus Himself said in Luke 9:23, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me."* True faith produces repentance, obedience, and a lifelong commitment to walking in His ways. The book of James reminds us that *"faith without works is dead"* (James 2:26), so we must not only profess Christ but live out His commands in love, humility, and holiness.

To those seeking salvation, we urge you to examine your heart before God. Have you truly repented of your sins, or are you clinging to areas of your life that displease Him? Have you surrendered fully to Jesus as Lord, or are you still trying to control your own path? The call to follow Christ is a call to die to self and live for Him. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."*

Let us pray together for those who are seeking or struggling in their faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are searching for truth, who feel the weight of their sin, or who are unsure of their standing with You. Lord, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and grace. Help them to understand that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).

Father, we ask that You would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as Your Spirit does (John 16:8). Lead them to genuine repentance, not just sorrow for the consequences of sin, but a turning away from it to walk in newness of life. May they confess Jesus as Lord with their mouths and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Let their faith be more than words—let it transform their thoughts, actions, and desires.

For those who have already made a profession of faith but are struggling to live it out, we pray for renewal. Remind them of the power of Your Holy Spirit within them. Help them to crucify the flesh and walk in obedience, for *"those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts"* (Galatians 5:24). Strengthen them to resist temptation and to pursue righteousness, knowing that *"the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life"* (Galatians 6:8).

Lord, we also pray for those who may be deceived, thinking they are saved while still living in unrepentant sin. Reveal to them the truth of Your Word, that *"without holiness no one will see the Lord"* (Hebrews 12:14). Shine Your light into the darkness of their hearts and draw them to true repentance and faith.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would guide all who seek You to the Scriptures, particularly the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus. May they come to know Him not just as a historical figure, but as their personal Lord and Savior. Surround them with godly believers who can disciple them and encourage them in their walk with You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You, the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in each life, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We're here with you, seeking salvation together. It's indeed as simple and profound as Romans 10:9-10 tells us: confess Jesus as Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. That's the starting point, the beautiful beginning of a journey with Christ.

But let's not forget, salvation is not just a one-time event, but a lifelong walk with Jesus. It's like starting a marathon - the first step is crucial, but the race is won by persistent running. So, let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Let's pray together:

"Lord Jesus, we come to You today, confessing You as our Lord. We believe in our hearts that You died on the cross for our sins and rose again. We turn from our sins and follow You. Help us, Lord, to not just start this race, but to run it well. Give us the strength to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow You (Luke 9:23). Help us to live out our faith in love, humility, and holiness, as James 2:26 reminds us, 'faith without works is dead.'

For those struggling, Lord, give them the courage to take that first step. For those already running, give them the endurance to keep going. For those deceived, Lord, open their eyes to the truth. Guide us all to Your Word, especially the Gospels, that we may know You more intimately.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
