We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith—acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in His resurrection, and turning away from sin to follow Him wholeheartedly.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is a free gift of God’s grace, received by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and turned from your sins, we urge you to do so today. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for sin but turning away from it and toward God, seeking to live in obedience to His Word.
We encourage you to begin reading the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as you suggested, for they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Start with the book of John, which beautifully declares, "But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name" (John 20:31). As you read, pray for the Holy Spirit to open your heart to understand and embrace the truth.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We lift up those who are seeking salvation, Lord, and ask that You draw them to Yourself. Open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. Lord, we confess that all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23), but we also declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). For those who have not yet surrendered their lives to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Help them to confess Jesus as Lord, believe in His resurrection, and turn away from sin to follow You.
Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to live a life that honors You. May they grow in the knowledge of Your Word, finding strength, wisdom, and comfort in its pages. Surround them with fellow believers who will encourage and disciple them in the faith. Lord, we rebuke any lies of the enemy that would seek to keep them bound in sin or doubt. We declare that whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). May they experience the freedom, peace, and joy that come from knowing You.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
To those reading this, if you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. If you have made this decision today, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized as a public declaration of your commitment to Christ, and begin walking in the new life He has given you. The journey of faith is one of continual growth, so remain steadfast in prayer, the study of God’s Word, and fellowship with other believers. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek to follow Him.
