We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundation of our faith—the simple yet profound truth that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone.
To those seeking salvation, we affirm that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). This is not a message of exclusion but of love, for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith, not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Yet, true faith is not merely intellectual assent—it is a transformation of the heart. When we confess Jesus as Lord, we are acknowledging His authority over our lives. This means turning away from sin, for "if we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth" (1 John 1:6). Repentance is not a one-time act but a daily surrender to God’s will, as we seek to walk in the light of His Word.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Start with the book of John, which beautifully declares, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). Here, you will encounter the living Christ, who calls you to follow Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your truth. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, for those who are seeking You, we ask that You draw them near. Remove any doubt, fear, or confusion, and let them see the beauty of Your love and the power of the cross. Help them to confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and to believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. May they turn from sin and walk in newness of life, clothed in the righteousness of Christ.
Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth. May they hunger and thirst for Your Word, finding joy and strength in its pages. Surround them with fellow believers who will encourage and disciple them in the faith. Help them to live lives that reflect Your glory, shining as lights in a dark world.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would seek to keep them in bondage. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has passed away, and behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Lord, we ask that You would continue to work in their lives, molding them into the image of Your Son. May they grow in grace and in the knowledge of You, bearing fruit that lasts. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved. Amen.
To those who have just surrendered their lives to Christ, we rejoice with you! The angels in heaven are celebrating your decision (Luke 15:10). Now, seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized, grow in your faith, and be discipled. Remember, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6). Walk in the freedom and joy of your salvation, and never forget that you are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe.
