We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This is the foundational truth upon which our faith stands—salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone, by grace through faith, not by our own works or efforts.
To those seeking salvation, we echo the call to repentance and faith. Confessing Jesus as Lord means surrendering your life to Him, turning away from sin, and following His commands. This is not merely a one-time decision but a daily commitment to walk in obedience to God’s Word. As Jesus Himself said in Luke 9:23, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me." Salvation is the beginning of a transformed life, one that seeks to honor God in every thought, word, and deed.
We also encourage you to immerse yourself in the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Start with the book of John, which beautifully proclaims Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to eternal life. John 14:6 records Jesus saying, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other path to salvation, no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
If you have not yet made this decision, we urge you to do so today. The Bible warns in 2 Corinthians 6:2, "Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation." Do not delay—confess your sins, turn to Jesus, and trust in Him as your Lord and Savior. If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we encourage you to grow in your relationship with Him through prayer, studying Scripture, and fellowship with other believers.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are seeking You today, Lord. Draw them by Your Spirit, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Your love. For those who have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we pray that You would convict them of their need for a Savior and lead them to repentance. For those who have already believed, strengthen their faith, deepen their understanding of Your Word, and help them to walk in obedience to You.
Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of sin in their lives and fill them with the power of Your Holy Spirit. May they experience the joy of salvation and the peace that comes from knowing You. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, to study Your Word diligently, and to live lives that bring glory to Your name. We pray that they would be bold in sharing the Gospel with others, so that more may come to know You.
Father, we also pray for protection over their hearts and minds. Guard them against the lies of the enemy and the distractions of this world. Surround them with godly influences and a community of believers who will encourage them in their walk with You. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may their lives reflect the transformative power of the Gospel.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Amen.
