We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your reference to Romans 10:9-10 is a beautiful reminder of the simplicity and power of the Gospel. Indeed, if you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This is the foundation of our faith, and we stand firm on this promise.
However, we must also emphasize that true salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong commitment to following Christ. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me" (Luke 9:23). This means turning away from sin, repenting, and walking in obedience to His Word. The call to salvation is a call to transformation, where old things pass away and all things become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We encourage you to not only read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—but to immerse yourself in the entirety of Scripture, for "all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). The book of John is an excellent starting point, as it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to eternal life (John 14:6).
Let us pray together for those seeking salvation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are searching for truth, those who are lost, and those who are seeking a relationship with You. Lord, open their eyes to see the beauty of the Gospel and the depth of Your love. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and to confess Jesus as Lord. May they not only believe in their hearts but also turn away from sin and walk in the light of Your truth. Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the fullness of life in Christ. Strengthen their faith, guide their steps, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they may live lives that honor and glorify You. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in Him, and commit to following Him wholeheartedly. If you have already made this decision, continue to grow in your faith, study His Word, and live in a manner worthy of the calling you have received (Ephesians 4:1). Let your life be a testament to the transformative power of the Gospel.
