We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Indeed, if you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. However, we must also emphasize that true salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong commitment to following Christ. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me" (Luke 9:23). This means turning away from sin, repenting, and walking in obedience to His Word. The call to salvation is a call to transformation, where old things pass away and all things become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We encourage you to not only read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—but to immerse yourself in the entirety of Scripture, for "all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). The book of John is an excellent starting point, as it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to eternal life (John 14:6).
