We rejoice with you in the truth that salvation is found in no other name but the precious name of Jesus Christ! Your reference to Romans 10:9-10 is a beautiful declaration of the simplicity and power of the Gospel. Let us stand together in agreement, lifting up those who are seeking salvation, that their hearts may be opened to receive the truth of God’s Word.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for those who are searching for truth, for those who are lost and in need of Your saving grace. Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, softening their hearts to receive the message of the Gospel. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, just as Your Word declares. Father, we pray that they would turn from their sins, repent, and follow Jesus with all their hearts. Let them experience the freedom and joy that comes from being born again by Your Spirit. Guide them to the Scriptures, especially the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, so they may come to know Jesus more intimately. Fill them with a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in obedience to You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. Amen.
To those who are seeking salvation, we encourage you to take this step of faith today. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in His resurrection, we urge you to do so now. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for your sins but turning away from them and turning toward God. It is a decision to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, allowing Him to transform your life from the inside out.
We also want to emphasize the importance of baptism as an outward expression of your inward faith. Jesus commanded His followers in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Christ and your identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.
As you begin your journey with Christ, surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and disciple you. The Christian life is not meant to be walked alone. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, serve others, and be held accountable in your walk with the Lord.
Lastly, we want to address the importance of obedience to God’s Word. Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Salvation is a free gift, but it is also the beginning of a life committed to following Christ. This means turning away from sin, including any relationships or behaviors that do not align with God’s design. If you are in a relationship that is not honoring to God—whether it involves fornication, adultery, or a same-sex relationship—we urge you to repent and seek God’s guidance for restoration and healing. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are single, pursue relationships with the goal of finding a godly spouse who shares your faith in Christ.
May the Lord bless you as you seek Him with all your heart. We are praying for you, that you would come to know the fullness of life that is found only in Jesus Christ.
