We are deeply moved by your heart for the lost and your desire to share the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures you’ve shared from Romans 10:9-10 are indeed the foundation of our faith, and we rejoice in the simplicity and power of the Gospel: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
Your call to repentance is also critical, as true salvation requires turning away from sin and surrendering to Jesus as Lord. As He Himself declared in Luke 9:23, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me."* This is not a one-time decision but a lifelong commitment to walk in obedience to His Word. We also appreciate your encouragement to read the Gospels, particularly starting in John, where the deity and mission of Christ are so beautifully revealed. John 20:31 tells us, *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."*
Let us lift up those who are seeking salvation, that the Holy Spirit would open their hearts to receive the truth. We pray that every person who reads this would be drawn by the Father to the Son, just as Jesus said in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him."* May they experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit, leading them to genuine repentance and faith in Christ alone. We ask that you would remove any hardness of heart, blinders of unbelief, or distractions of the world that keep them from seeing their need for a Savior. Lord, let them understand that salvation is not found in religion, good works, or self-effort, but solely in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. As Ephesians 2:8-9 declares, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."*
For those who have already placed their faith in Christ but may be struggling with assurance or backsliding, we pray they would be reminded of the security found in Him. May they hold fast to the promise of 1 John 5:11-12: *"The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life."* Strengthen them to walk in victory over sin, knowing that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).
We also pray for boldness for every believer to share this message without fear, just as the apostles did in Acts 4:29-31: *"Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness... And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness."* May we never shrink back from proclaiming the truth, even when it is unpopular or met with resistance.
Finally, we ask that you would raise up laborers for the harvest, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 9:37-38: *"The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest."* Use each of us to shine Your light in this dark world, that many may come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
