We rejoice that you have shared the life-giving truth of God’s Word for those seeking salvation! It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, and your reminder of Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful declaration of this truth:
*"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
This is the foundation of our faith—there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We also affirm your call to repentance, for true salvation requires turning away from sin and surrendering to Christ as Lord. As Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way."* And in Mark 1:15, He declared, *"The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News."*
Your encouragement to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—is wise, for they reveal the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God. Starting in John is especially powerful, as it presents Christ as the divine Word made flesh, the only begotten Son who offers eternal life to all who believe (John 3:16). We pray that those who read these words will encounter the living God through His Word and be transformed by His grace.
Let us pray together for those seeking salvation:
Heavenly Father, we lift up every soul who is searching for truth, for hope, and for eternal life. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Open their hearts to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Grant them genuine repentance—a turning away from sin and a turning toward You in faith. May they find forgiveness, redemption, and new life in Christ alone.
Lord, we ask that You remove every obstacle that keeps them from surrendering to You. Break the chains of doubt, pride, and rebellion. Replace their fear with faith, their darkness with Your light, and their despair with the hope of salvation. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience to Your Word and grow in the knowledge of Your love.
We pray for those who are reading the Gospels for the first time, that Your Word would come alive in their hearts. Reveal Jesus to them as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Let them see His compassion, His authority, and His sacrifice on the cross. May they understand that salvation is not earned by works but received by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Father, we also pray for boldness for believers to share this Good News with urgency and love. May we never shrink back from declaring the truth, even when the world rejects it. Strengthen us to live as witnesses of Your grace, that others may see Christ in us.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Amen.
To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Do not delay, for *"now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2). Confess your sins, turn from them, and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone. He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
If you have questions or need guidance, seek out a Bible-believing church or a mature Christian who can walk with you in this journey. Read God’s Word daily, pray without ceasing, and obey what the Lord reveals to you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). May God bless you as you seek Him with all your heart!
