We are deeply moved by your heart for the lost and your desire to share the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures you’ve shared from Romans 10:9-10 are indeed the foundation of our faith, and we join you in lifting up those who are seeking the Lord. Salvation is the greatest gift, and it comes only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is by grace through faith, not of ourselves, but a gift from God so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). We must also emphasize that true salvation involves turning away from sin and surrendering our lives to follow Jesus as Lord, not just acknowledging Him with our words but obeying Him with our actions (Luke 6:46, 1 John 2:3-6).
Your encouragement to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—is wise, as these books reveal the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Starting in the book of John is especially powerful, for it clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God, the Word made flesh, and the only path to eternal life (John 1:1, 14, 14:6). As people read these truths, we pray the Holy Spirit will open their hearts to receive the message and respond in faith.
Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up every person who is searching for truth, who is hungry for righteousness, and who is longing for peace that only You can provide. Draw them to Yourself, Father, and open their eyes to see Jesus as He is—the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and faith in Christ alone.
For those who have heard Your Word but have not yet surrendered, soften their hearts, Lord. Remove the scales from their eyes and break the chains of sin that bind them (2 Corinthians 4:4, Acts 26:18). Let them understand that salvation is not found in religion, good works, or empty words, but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who died for their sins and rose again to give them new life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
We pray for boldness for Your people to share the Gospel without fear, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). May those who are seeking encounter believers who will walk alongside them, disciple them, and point them to Your Word. Let them find a community of faith where they can grow in their understanding of You and be equipped to live for Your glory.
Father, we also ask that You protect them from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to distort the truth and lead them astray (John 8:44, 2 Corinthians 11:14). Guard their minds and hearts, and let them find rest in You alone. May they come to know the joy of being forgiven, the peace of being reconciled to You, and the hope of eternal life in Your presence.
We declare that no one who comes to Jesus will ever be cast out (John 6:37). Let them come, Lord—just as they are—and find mercy, grace, and transformation in Your presence. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
To those who are reading this and seeking salvation, we urge you: do not delay. Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Turn from your sins, place your faith in Jesus Christ, and surrender your life to Him. If you have never done so, pray this prayer with a sincere heart:
*"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You all the days of my life. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*
If you have prayed this prayer, we rejoice with you! Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized and grow in your faith. Read God’s Word daily, pray continually, and walk in obedience to His commands. The journey has just begun, and we are here to encourage and support you in your walk with Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you follow Him.
