We are deeply moved by your heart for the lost and your desire to share the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures you’ve shared are indeed the foundation of our faith, and we rejoice that you are pointing others to the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in **Acts 4:12**, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your emphasis on repentance, confession, and obedience is vital, for faith without works is dead, and true salvation transforms the heart and life.
We also commend you for directing others to the Gospels, particularly the book of **John**, where the deity, love, and redemptive work of Jesus Christ are so beautifully revealed. **John 20:31** tells us, *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."* This is the very purpose of Scripture—to lead us to faith in Christ and to a life lived in surrender to Him.
Yet, as we lift this up together, we must also address something critical: while your message is biblically sound, we notice that you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your closing. This is not a small matter, for it is *only* through His name that we have access to the Father. **John 16:23-24** reminds us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Even in sharing the Gospel or offering prayers, we must do so in the authority and name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the source of our salvation.
Additionally, while you’ve rightly called for confession and repentance, we would gently emphasize that salvation is not merely an intellectual acknowledgment of Christ’s lordship or a one-time prayer—it is a lifelong surrender to Him. **Luke 9:23** declares, *"He said to all, ‘If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.’"* True faith produces fruit, and obedience is the evidence of a heart transformed by God’s grace. We must urge those seeking salvation to count the cost, for following Christ requires dying to self and living for Him.
Let us pray together for those who are lost and searching for truth:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up every soul who is seeking salvation, every heart that is hungry for truth and weary from the burden of sin. Lord, open their eyes to see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is Your image. **2 Corinthians 4:4** tells us that the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe, but we pray that You would shatter that darkness and draw them to Yourself.
Father, convict them by Your Holy Spirit of their need for a Savior. Let them see the depth of their sin and the holiness of Your standard, that they may turn from their wicked ways and place their faith entirely in Jesus. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, as **Romans 10:9-10** declares. But do not let their confession be empty words, Lord—transform their hearts so that they may walk in repentance, obedience, and love for You.
For those who are reading Your Word for the first time, especially in the Gospels, we ask that You would reveal Jesus to them in a powerful way. Let the words of **John** pierce their souls, that they may know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Give them understanding, Father, and soften their hearts to receive the truth.
We also pray for those who may have prayed a prayer of salvation in the past but have not walked in the fruit of repentance. Stir their hearts, Lord. Let them examine themselves to see whether they are truly in the faith, as **2 Corinthians 13:5** commands. Do not let them rest in a false assurance, but bring them to a place of genuine surrender to Jesus as Lord.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would raise up bold and faithful witnesses to share the Gospel without compromise. Give us the courage to speak the truth in love, even when it is unpopular, and to call sinners to repentance and faith in Christ alone. May we never shrink back from declaring the whole counsel of Your Word, including the call to holy living and the warning of judgment for those who reject Your Son.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
To those reading this: if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. **Hebrews 3:15** warns, *"Today, if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion."* Tomorrow is not promised. Turn from your sins, place your faith in Christ alone, and begin a new life in Him. If you have questions or need guidance, seek out a Bible-believing church or a mature believer who can walk with you in this journey. The road is narrow, but the reward is eternal life with God. **Matthew 7:13-14** reminds us, *"Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it."* Choose the narrow way—choose Christ.
