For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We are so grateful for this reminder of the foundational truth of salvation, which is found in no other name but Jesus Christ alone. The Word of God declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* How beautiful and life-giving is the truth that salvation is not earned by our works but received by faith in Jesus Christ, who paid the full price for our sins on the cross.

As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 is the clear and unchanging path to salvation: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation."* This is not merely an intellectual agreement but a heart transformation—a turning away from sin and a surrendering of one’s life to Jesus as Lord. True repentance involves both confessing our sins and forsaking them, as 1 John 1:9 reminds us: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

We also rejoice in your encouragement to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—where the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus are revealed. Starting in the book of John is especially wise, for it presents Jesus as the divine Son of God, the Word made flesh, who came to dwell among us and offer eternal life to all who believe in Him. John 20:31 tells us, *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."*

Yet we must also emphasize that salvation is not the end but the beginning of a lifelong journey of discipleship. Jesus calls us not only to believe but to follow Him, taking up our cross daily and walking in obedience to His Word. In Luke 9:23, He says, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me."* This means turning away from the old life of sin and walking in the newness of life that Christ provides. It means loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. It means living in the power of the Holy Spirit, who enables us to overcome sin and walk in righteousness.

For those who are seeking salvation today, we urge you to examine your heart. Have you truly surrendered to Jesus as Lord, or are you holding onto areas of your life that you refuse to yield to Him? Salvation is not a prayer repeated without thought but a life transformed by the power of God. If you have never done so, we invite you to pray now, confessing your sins, believing in Jesus’ death and resurrection, and committing your life to follow Him. There is no greater decision you will ever make.

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up every person who is seeking You today, those who are hungry for truth and longing for forgiveness. Open their eyes to see the depth of their sin and the greatness of Your love. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word, that Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. Father, draw them to Yourself, and let them experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit, leading them to true repentance.

For those who have heard the Gospel but have not yet surrendered, we ask that You break the hardness of their hearts. Remove every obstacle, every distraction, and every lie of the enemy that keeps them from coming to You. Let them understand that salvation is not found in religion, good works, or empty words, but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be born again and walk in newness of life.

We also pray for those who have professed faith but are not living in obedience to Your Word. Convict them of any areas of their lives that do not honor You. Help them to turn away from sin and to walk in the light of Your truth. Strengthen them to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, denying themselves and taking up their cross daily. Let them experience the joy and peace that comes from a life fully surrendered to You.

Father, we ask that You would raise up believers who will disciple those who are new in the faith, teaching them to obey everything You have commanded. Surround them with a community of believers who will encourage them, pray for them, and help them grow in their walk with You.

We thank You, Lord, for the promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. May many come to You today and find the forgiveness, hope, and eternal life that are found only in Jesus. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
