The path to salvation is clear in God’s Word, and you’ve rightly pointed to Romans 10:9-10, which declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* This is the glorious truth—salvation comes not by our works or efforts, but by faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is through His finished work on the cross, His resurrection, and our repentance that we are made new.
Yet, we must also emphasize that true faith is accompanied by repentance—a turning away from sin and a turning toward God. As Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."* And in Acts 3:19, we are urged, *"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."* Salvation is not merely an intellectual agreement with the facts of the Gospel; it is a surrender of the heart and a commitment to follow Jesus as Lord.
We also commend you for directing seekers to the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—where the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus are recorded. The book of John is especially powerful for those exploring faith, as it so clearly presents Jesus as the Son of God, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). In John 20:31, we read, *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in his name."*
As we pray for those who are seeking salvation, let us also remember that it is the Holy Spirit who convicts and draws hearts to Christ. Jesus said in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."*

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up every person who is seeking You, those who are lost and searching for truth. We ask that You would open their hearts to receive the Gospel and that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for a Savior. Draw them to Yourself, Father, and remove every barrier that keeps them from coming to Christ.
For those who have heard Your Word but have not yet surrendered, we pray that You would soften their hearts and grant them the gift of repentance. Help them to see the weight of their sin and the beauty of Your grace. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Lord, we ask that You would protect seekers from deception and false teachings. Surround them with believers who will disciple them in Your truth and help them grow in their faith. May they find a community of believers who will walk alongside them as they begin their journey with You.
We thank You, Father, that salvation is not based on our own righteousness but on the perfect sacrifice of Jesus.
