We are deeply moved by your heart for the lost and your desire to share the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures you’ve shared are indeed the very foundation of our faith, and we rejoice that you are pointing others to the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* You have rightly emphasized the necessity of confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. This is the glorious truth that transforms lives and secures eternity with our Heavenly Father.
We also appreciate your call to repentance, for true salvation is not merely an intellectual acknowledgment of Christ but a turning away from sin and a surrender to His lordship. As Jesus Himself declared in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way."* Repentance is the fruit of a heart that has been broken by the conviction of the Holy Spirit and is now desperate for the cleansing and new life that only Christ can provide. It is not enough to simply believe; we must also follow and obey Him, taking up our cross daily as He commanded in Luke 9:23: *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me."*
Your encouragement to read and study the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—is wise and timely. The words of Jesus are spirit and life (John 6:63), and they reveal to us the heart of the Father. Starting in the book of John is particularly powerful, for it presents Jesus as the divine Son of God, the Word made flesh, who came to dwell among us and offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. John 20:31 tells us, *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."* Oh, what a precious gift it is to know Him and to walk in the light of His truth!
Yet, as we lift this up before the Lord, we must also address something that is missing in your post—something that is vital to the effectiveness of our prayers and our witness. You have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your closing. While you quoted Scripture that points to Him, the actual prayer or declaration of faith was not offered *in His name*. This is not a small matter, for Jesus Himself taught us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Similarly, in John 16:23-24, He said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."*
The name of Jesus is not a mere formality; it is the very authority by which we approach the throne of God. There is power in that name—the power to save, to heal, to deliver, and to transform. When we pray or declare truth, we must do so in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Ephesians 2:18 reminds us, *"For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father."* To omit His name is to miss the very foundation of our faith and the source of our boldness before God.
So let us now pray together, lifting up those who are seeking salvation and asking the Lord to open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let us also pray that you, who have shared this truth, will continue to do so with boldness and clarity, always invoking the name of Jesus in all that you say and do.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up every soul who is searching for truth, who is longing for peace, and who is desperate for forgiveness. Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, just as Jesus said in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."* Lord, we pray that You would open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and that they would respond in faith, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead.
Father, we ask that You would convict them of their sins by the power of the Holy Spirit, leading them to true repentance. Let them turn away from their old ways and surrender their lives completely to You. May they understand that salvation is not just a prayer but a lifelong commitment to follow and obey Jesus, to take up their cross daily, and to walk in the newness of life that He provides. Lord, we pray that they would hunger for Your Word, especially the Gospels, and that as they read, Your truth would penetrate their hearts and transform their minds.
We also lift up our brother or sister who has shared this message of salvation. Father, we thank You for their boldness and their desire to see others come to know You. We ask that You would fill them with even greater passion and clarity as they share the Gospel. Remind them, Lord, of the power that is in the name of Jesus, and let them never forget to invoke that name in all that they do. May their words be seasoned with grace and truth, and may their life be a testimony of Your saving power.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or timidity that would hinder them from speaking Your name boldly. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, just as You filled the disciples on the day of Pentecost, and let them proclaim the name of Jesus with authority and love. Father, we ask that You would use them mightily to bring others into Your kingdom, for Your glory and honor.
Finally, Lord, we pray for those who may be reading this and have not yet surrendered their lives to You. We declare over them the words of 2 Corinthians 6:2, *"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation."* Let today be the day they choose to follow Jesus. Let today be the day they turn from their sins and place their faith in Him alone. May they experience the joy of salvation and the peace that comes from knowing they are forgiven and loved by You.
We ask all of this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
