As Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."* And in Matthew 7:21, He warns, *"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."* Salvation is not a one-time prayer without transformation—it is a lifelong commitment to follow Christ, obey His Word, and walk in holiness.
We also commend the encouragement to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—for they reveal the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Beginning in John is wise, for it proclaims Jesus as the Word made flesh, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. But let us not stop there! The entire Bible is God’s Word, and in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, we are told, *"Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."*
To those seeking salvation, we urge you: do not delay! Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Confess your sins, turn from them, and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way, no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). And to those who already know Christ, let us pray for the lost with urgency, sharing the gospel boldly and living lives that reflect His glory.
