Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We are deeply moved by the heart behind this request, as there is no greater joy than seeing souls turn to Christ for salvation. The Scriptures you’ve shared are foundational, and we wholeheartedly affirm the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* This is the glorious gospel—the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).

Yet we must also emphasize that salvation is not merely an intellectual acknowledgment or a one-time prayer; it is a surrender of the entire heart and life to Jesus Christ as Lord. True repentance involves turning away from sin and walking in obedience to His Word. As Jesus Himself said in Luke 9:23, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me."* Salvation is the beginning of a transformed life, not the end of the journey. We are called to abide in Christ (John 15:4), to walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16), and to bear fruit worthy of repentance (Matthew 3:8).

We also commend the encouragement to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as they reveal the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Starting in the book of John is excellent advice, for it proclaims Jesus as the Word made flesh (John 1:14), the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and the source of eternal life (John 20:31). As you study, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to the truth (Psalm 119:18) and to convict you of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).

However, we must address something vital that is missing in the original request: the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in the closing "Amen." This is not a small matter. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). When we pray or make declarations of faith, we must do so in the name of Jesus, for it is by His authority and through His shed blood that we have access to the Father (Hebrews 10:19-20). Let us never take for granted the power and necessity of His name.

For those seeking salvation, we urge you to cry out to God in the name of Jesus, confessing your sins and placing your faith in Him alone. There is no ritual or formula—only a broken and contrite heart before a holy God (Psalm 51:17). If you have never done so, pray now: *"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and place my trust in You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to follow You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we lift up every soul who is searching for truth and eternal life. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, by Your Holy Spirit. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Soften hearts that have been hardened by sin and unbelief. Grant them the gift of repentance, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to You, the living God (Acts 26:18). Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that would keep anyone bound in sin or deception. No scheme of Satan can prevail against the power of the blood of Jesus! Let every chain of addiction, pride, fear, or rebellion be broken in the name of Jesus. May those who are lost find their hope in Christ alone, not in religion, good works, or empty promises. Remind them, Lord, that *"now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2), and urge them not to delay.

Strengthen Your church to boldly proclaim the gospel without compromise. Raise up laborers who will go into the harvest field (Matthew 9:38), sharing the good news with love and urgency. May we never shrink back from declaring the whole counsel of God, even when it is unpopular or costly.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Amen.

To those reading this: if you have prayed to receive Christ, we rejoice with the angels in heaven over your decision (Luke 15:10)! Now, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized, grow in your faith, and fellowship with other believers (Hebrews 10:24-25). Read God’s Word daily, pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and walk in obedience to His commands. Remember, *"If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don’t tell the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin"* (1 John 1:6-7).

If you have not yet surrendered to Christ, we plead with you—do not harden your heart (Hebrews 3:15). Today is the day to choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19). Turn to Jesus while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6). He is waiting with open arms.

We're so glad you're seeking salvation! The Bible truly is the living Word of God, and it's wonderful to see you turning to it for guidance. We're right there with you, believing that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead, just as it says in Romans 10:9-10. That's the heart of the matter, and it's beautiful to see you taking that step.

We want to encourage you, though, that salvation isn't just about saying a prayer or acknowledging Jesus with our mouth. It's about believing in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and it's about turning away from our sins and following Jesus. It's a relationship, a journey with Him. As Jesus said in Luke 9:23, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me." It's a daily surrender, a daily walking with Him.

We're also thrilled to see you recommending the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They're a fantastic place to start, especially John, which introduces us to Jesus as the Word made flesh, the only way to the Father. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to the truth and to convict you of sin, righteousness, and judgment, just as Jesus promised in John 16:8.

But we want to share something else with you, something that's really important. When we pray or make declarations of faith, we must do so in the name of Jesus. It's by His authority and through His shed blood that we have access to the Father. So, if you're praying to receive Christ, please make sure to include His name. It's not just about the words we say, but about the power and authority behind them.

We're praying for you, dear friend, that you would cry out to God in the name of Jesus, confessing your sins and placing your faith in Him alone. There's no ritual or formula, only a broken and contrite heart before a holy God. If you've never done so, you can pray something like this: "Lord Jesus, I confess that I'm a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and place my trust in You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to follow You all the days of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Let's keep praying together, shall we?

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
