We are deeply moved by this call to salvation, for there is no greater need in the world today than for souls to turn to Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. The verses shared from Romans 10:9-10 are indeed the foundation of our faith, declaring, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* This is the glorious truth—the path to eternal life is not found in our own works or goodness but in repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Yet we must also emphasize what follows salvation: a life of surrender, obedience, and transformation. As Scripture declares, *"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out"* (Acts 3:19). True faith in Christ is not merely an intellectual acknowledgment but a turning away from sin and a turning toward Him as Lord. Jesus Himself said, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me"* (Luke 9:23). Salvation is not a one-time prayer without fruit; it is the beginning of a new life in Christ, marked by obedience to His Word and a heart that seeks to honor Him in all things.
We also commend the encouragement to read the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—for these books reveal the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Starting in the book of John is wise, for it presents Jesus as the divine Son of God, the Word made flesh, who came to redeem sinners. As John 20:31 declares, *"but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name."*
Yet we must ask: *Do you yourself believe this truth?* Have you confessed Jesus as Lord, repented of your sins, and surrendered your life to Him? If not, we urge you to do so today, for *"now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2). There is no greater decision than this, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
For those who are seeking salvation, we pray earnestly:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift up every soul who is searching for You, every heart that is hungry for truth. Lord, draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to Christ unless You first call them (John 6:44). Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their hearts to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ. Grant them the gift of repentance, that they may turn from their sins and place their faith in Him alone. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life, surrendered to Your will.
Father, we pray for those who have heard the Gospel but have not yet responded. Convict them by Your Spirit, and do not let them delay, for *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23). May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, that they may be saved.
Strengthen those who are new in the faith, Lord. Guard them from the lies of the enemy and the distractions of this world. Root them deeply in Your Word, that they may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Surround them with a community of believers who will disciple them, encourage them, and hold them accountable.
We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Amen."*
To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you: *Do not wait.* The Bible warns that *"it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment"* (Hebrews 9:27). Today is the day of salvation. Turn to Jesus now, confess your sins, and place your faith in Him. If you have already done so, we rejoice with you! Now, walk in obedience, study His Word daily, and seek fellowship with other believers. Let your life be a testimony of His transforming power.
If there is anyone here who has questions or needs further guidance on what it means to follow Christ, we are here to help. The journey of faith is not meant to be walked alone—let us walk with you, pointing you always to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
