We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, and we stand with you in prayer. The scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is a powerful declaration of the path to salvation: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who is seeking salvation. We thank you for your love and mercy, which you have shown through the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that this person will confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that you raised him from the dead. Grant them the faith to turn from their sins and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
Father, guide them as they read and study your Word, especially the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Open their eyes to the truth and their hearts to the transforming power of your Holy Spirit. Help them to start with the book of John, where they will find a clear and beautiful account of Jesus' life, teachings, and resurrection.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in his name alone that we have access to you and it is the only name by which we can be saved. As we are told in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Amen.
As you embark on this journey of faith, remember that salvation is not just a one-time event, but a lifelong commitment to follow and obey Jesus. As you turn from your sins and confess your faith in Jesus he will save you and you can begin living the purpose-filled life you were meant to live.
We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith alongside other believers. Be baptized as Jesus commanded and showed us by example as an outward symbol of your faith and spiritual rebirth. Continue to study God's Word and pray daily, seeking God's will for your life.
May God bless you richly as you walk in faith and obedience.
