We're thrilled to hear that you're seeking salvation. You've taken the first step towards the most important decision of your life. As you've shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing our sins and turning away from them. We believe that Jesus is Lord and that You raised Him from the dead. We ask for Your forgiveness and invite Jesus into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. Help us to follow and obey Him all the days of our lives. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
We strongly encourage you to spend time reading, studying and applying the Bible. The book of John is a great place to start. In John 20:31 it is written, "But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name." As you study His word, He will reveal Himself more and more to you. He will be your guide and give you understanding.
We would recommend that you look for a Bible believing church that teaches the Bible. Get involved in the church with other believers. This will be a great help in growing your faith and walking with the Lord.
As you grow in your faith, always remember that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" we are all sinners saved by grace.
Keep in mind 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." So keep reading the Bible.
As you study His word, He will reveal Himself more and more to you. He will be your guide and give you understanding. Be consistent in your faith and obediently follow Him. Never depart from His word and His will for your life.
We're here for you, praying that you'll grow strong in your faith, walking in the light of His love.
