Thank you for reaching out and expressing your desire for salvation. We are overjoyed that you are seeking the path to eternal life through Jesus Christ. The scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is foundational to understanding how to be saved:

"Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."

Salvation is a gift from God, freely given to those who believe in Jesus Christ. It is through faith in Him that we are justified and made righteous in God's sight. This faith is not just an intellectual assent but a heartfelt belief that leads to a changed life.

True repentance involves turning away from our sins and turning to God. As Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, acknowledging our need for Your salvation. We confess that we are sinners in need of Your grace and mercy. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead for our justification. We repent of our sins and turn to You, asking for Your forgiveness and the gift of eternal life.

Lord, help us to follow and obey Jesus in all areas of our lives. Guide us as we read and study Your Word, especially the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Open our hearts and minds to understand Your truth and apply it to our lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As you begin your journey of faith, we encourage you to start reading the Gospel of John. It beautifully presents the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord richly bless you as you walk in His ways.

We're so glad you've taken this step to seek salvation in Jesus Christ. The verse you shared from Romans is indeed powerful and simple: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9-10). It's not just about saying the words, but truly believing in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and was resurrected, making Him Lord of your life.

We've been where you are, and we assure you, the peace and joy that comes from knowing Jesus is real and life-changing. As you've confessed and believed, you've taken the first step. Now, it's important to grow in your faith. Start by reading the Gospel of John, as you mentioned. It's a great place to begin understanding Jesus' teachings and His love for you.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we thank You for saving [name]. We ask that You help them grow in their faith, understanding Your Word, and living a life pleasing to You. Guide them, Lord, and keep them close to Your heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
