For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision you will ever make. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 tells us:

"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is the foundation of our faith. Believing in Jesus Christ, who He is, and what He has done for us, is the only way to be saved. It is through His death and resurrection that we have access to God the Father, as there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Turning from our sins, or repentance, is also a crucial part of this process. It is not just about acknowledging our sins, but also about making a conscious effort to turn away from them. As we do this, we begin to follow and obey Jesus, growing in our relationship with Him.

We encourage you to spend time in the Gospels, as you have mentioned: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These books will help you understand the life and ministry of Jesus. Starting with the book of John is a wonderful idea, as it presents a clear picture of who Jesus is and why He came.

Let us pray for you as you embark on this journey:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this person who is seeking You. We pray that You would open their heart and mind to understand the truth of Your Word. Help them to see the beauty of the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ. Grant them the faith to believe and the courage to confess Him as Lord.

As they turn from their sins, we ask that You would grant them the strength to obey and follow Jesus. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, and may Your Word be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path.

We want to encourage you to call out to Jesus, to invite Him into your life, and to trust in Him for your salvation.

While believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead is crucial, it's also important to live a life that reflects this belief. As Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." This means not only confessing Jesus as Lord with our mouths, but also living in a way that shows we belong to Him.

We'd like to suggest you also read and meditate on Ephesians 2:8-10, which says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." This passage reminds us that salvation is a gift from God, received by faith, and it also encourages us to live a life pleasing to God.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we thank You for this person seeking You. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, that they would come to know You personally, and that they would live a life that honors You. Help them to understand that salvation is a gift, received by faith, and that it's through this faith that they can do good works. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
