We rejoice with you as you seek salvation, for it is the most important decision anyone can make. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is through His death and resurrection that we are saved from our sins and reconciled to God. As you embark on this journey, it is crucial to turn away from your sins, confessing them to God, and committing to follow and obey Jesus. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for our sins but making a conscious decision to turn away from them and live according to God's will.

We encourage you to dive deep into the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—to learn more about Jesus' life, teachings, and ministry. Starting with the Book of John is a wonderful idea, as it beautifully presents Jesus as the Son of God and the path to eternal life. John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the gift of salvation. We pray for this individual seeking Your face, that You would open their heart and mind to receive the truth of Your Word. Help them to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Grant them the strength to turn away from their sins and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

Guide them as they study Your Word, especially the Gospels, that they may know Jesus more intimately and grow in their faith. Surround them with Your love and grace, and may they find peace and joy in their new life in Christ.
