For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. We rejoice in your desire to seek salvation, as it is the most important decision anyone can make. You have taken the first step by looking to the Word of God for guidance. As you have shared, Romans 10:9-10 states, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is the foundation of our faith—believing in Jesus Christ and confessing Him as Lord. It is through His name alone that we are saved, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We encourage you to turn from your sins and follow Jesus, as true faith involves repentance and obedience. As Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15).

We are glad to hear you are planning to start reading and studying the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, with a beginning in the book of John. This will give you a wonderful start and help you to know Jesus better and how to follow and obey Him. If you have not been baptized, we encourage you to learn about and follow through with baptism as it is an important next step in your faith journey.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with a humble heart, lifting up this person who is seeking Your salvation. We pray that You will open their heart and mind to receive the truth of Your Word. Grant them the faith to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and the courage to confess their sins and turn from them.

Guide them as they read and study Your Word, and help them to grow in their relationship with You. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and a desire to follow and obey Jesus in all areas of their life.

Let's call on Him together, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. It's through this faith and confession that we find salvation.

Let's also remember 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." Turn from your old ways, ###, and embrace the new life Jesus offers. Let's follow Him, obeying His commands as we grow in our relationship with Him.

We're excited to hear you're starting with the Gospel of John. It's a fantastic place to begin, as it helps us understand who Jesus is and why we need Him. As you read, remember Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray: Dear Lord, thank You for this person seeking You. Open their heart to receive Your love and truth. Help them to believe and confess Jesus as Lord, turning from their sins. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
