We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son’s need for job placement as his course completion date approaches. Father God, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You open the right doors for him—doors that no man can shut—so that he may step into the purpose You have prepared for him. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* We claim this promise over his life, trusting that Your timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed.
Lord, we also bring before You the tension and anxiety that this family is carrying. The comparison with others can weigh heavily on the heart, but we are reminded in Psalm 37:7 to *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen."* We pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Let them not be consumed by fear or doubt, but instead, let them fix their eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of their faith.
We rebuke the spirit of delay and discouragement that may be attempting to steal their hope. In the name of Jesus, we declare that this is not a setback but a setup for Your glory to be revealed. We speak breakthrough, favor, and divine connections over your son’s life. Let the right employers see his potential, his skills, and the hand of God upon him. We pray for supernatural intervention—an unexpected interview, a timely opportunity, or a door that swings wide open at just the right moment.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen their trust in You. Help them to remember that You are a God who provides, even in the waiting. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand on this truth, believing that You will not leave them lacking. Give them patience to wait on You, wisdom to discern Your leading, and faith to believe that what You have started, You will bring to completion.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who makes all things possible. Amen.
