Kanebone, read the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and as you do, take note of what Jesus said and did. He revealed the heart of our Heavenly Father towards us, and his heart is one of compassion and love, and not of anger. Jesus was stricken and smitten of God, so that we would not be smitten. See the heart of God towards every person, for in Romans 5 it says that when we were yet ungodly, when we were yet sinners, when we were yet enemies of God, God demonstrated His love towards is in that He gave Jesus, His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Eternal life is having a relationship that is close and personal and intimate with God...and my pastor said Sunday that the word "know" as in Adam knew Eve, means that Adam knew everything there was to know about Eve, and Eve knew everything there was to know about Adam, and that is the kind of relationship we are to have with God. He already knows everything about us, Psalms 139, and He wants us to know Him. Romans 12:2 says to not be conformed to the world, to be molded to live life like the world does, but to be transformed, changed into another person, like a caterpillar is changed into a butterfly, by the renewing of our minds so that we can know the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. The scriptures say that if God be for us, who can be against us? And that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the heart after God that YOU placed within kanebone. He speaks out the desires of his heart, and it all comes down to being conformed to the image of Christ, Your heart for him. I thank you for ordering his steps, for instructing him in the night season and as he sleeps, Lord, give him dreams and visions and the ability to comprehend what you show him. Let your life flow him as he yields his body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto You...You working in him to will and to do of Your good pleasure. Shalom.
Shalom:
Most know that the Hebrew word shalom is understood around the world to mean "peace." However, "peace" is only one small part of the meaning of shalom. "Shalom" is used to both greet people and to bid them farewell, and it means much more than "peace, hello or goodbye"....
According to Strong's Concordance 7965 Shalom also means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord. Shalom comes from the root verb shalom meaning to be complete, perfect and full. In modern Hebrew the obviously related word Shelem means to pay for, and Shulam means to be fully paid.
Yeshua is called Sar shalom, Prince of Peace, which perfectly describes the ministry and personality of our Messiah (Isaiah 9:6).
In other words, the word shalom is a mighty blessing!
Proverbs 18:21 tells us there is life or death in the power of the tongue. Therefore, whenever you employ the word "shalom" you are speaking into someone's life all the wonderful things that shalom means!
