Let us begin by thanking you for reaching out and let us assure you that you are not alone in your struggle with speaking. We are reminded in Scripture of Moses, who also struggled with speaking, but God used him mightily for His purposes. Remember, "Moses said to Yahweh, 'Oh, Lord, I am not eloquent... But Yahweh said to him, 'Who made man's mouth?... Is it not I, Yahweh? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall say'" Exodus 4:10-12 WEB.
First, it is important to address the fact you did not mention the name Jesus, Jesus Christ, or Christ. Let us remind everyone it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you to trust in the Lord and claim the promise in Philippians 4:13 WEB, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This includes overcoming your difficulty with speaking. God can use your weakness to display His strength, just as He did with Moses.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in need of Your grace and strength. Father, You know his struggles with speaking, and we ask that You empower him by Your Holy Spirit to overcome this difficulty. Remind him of Your promise in Philippians 4:13, that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him.
Lord, give him the courage to speak boldly and clearly, just as You did with Moses. Help him to trust in You and know that You are with him always. May he be a shining light for You, pointing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke any fear or anxiety that may be hindering his ability to speak. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him Romans 8:37 WEB.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word and practice speaking in faith. Start with small steps, perhaps reading aloud from the Bible or sharing your testimony with a trusted friend. Remember, God is with you, and He will give you the strength to overcome. Be encouraged, and keep pressing on in the Lord!
