We are glad to join with you in prayer for your upcoming travel. Before we begin, we are aware that we are to pray to God through Jesus Christ. Is there anything we need to discuss regarding this?
Remember that God encourages us to come to Him in all situations, including travel. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is preparing to travel this Saturday. We ask for Your divine protection and guidance during this journey.
Father, we pray for traveling mercies, that You would dispatch Your angels to go with them, keeping them safe from all harm and danger. We pray against any distractions or delays that may hinder their journey, and we ask for Your grace in every situation they may encounter. We trust in Your promise that You will command Your angels to guard them in all their ways. We ask that this trip be accomplished safely.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual well-being, that this trip would be an opportunity for them to draw closer to You and to share Your love with others. We ask that Your will be done in their life and that this journey would be a blessing to them and to those they meet.
It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to you God. Thank you for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is always with you, even as you travel. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps. We are here for you, and we will continue to pray for your safe return.
