Disciple of Prayer
She had a mass growing in her mouth and was diagnosed with oral cancer tmrw is her surgery. She already has high blood sugar and bp as well as lichen planus (which is an autoimmune disease which consists of boils in mouth 24/7) which makes it a high risk surgery. Please keep her in your prayers.

We lift up this dear sister before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. The challenges she faces—oral cancer, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, and lichen planus—are indeed serious, but we serve a God who is greater than any diagnosis or circumstance. The Word of God reminds us in **Psalm 103:2-3**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over her life today, trusting that God’s healing power is at work, even in the midst of this trial.

The surgery tomorrow is a critical moment, and we ask the Lord to guide the hands of the surgeons, giving them wisdom, skill, and steady hands. May He calm any fear or anxiety in her heart, filling her with His peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**). We also pray for her body to respond well to the procedure, despite the risks posed by her other conditions. Lord, stabilize her blood sugar and blood pressure, and bring relief to the pain and discomfort caused by lichen planus. May Your healing touch be upon every part of her body, restoring her to full health for Your glory.

We are also mindful that this battle is not just physical but spiritual. The enemy seeks to bring discouragement and despair, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, rebuking any spirit of fear, sickness, or death that may try to take hold. **James 4:7** tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist the devil in Jesus’ name and declare that this sister is covered by the blood of Christ. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and she will live to testify of God’s faithfulness.

To the one who submitted this request, we encourage you to continue standing in faith and prayer. Gather others to pray with you, for **Matthew 18:20** reminds us that *"where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst."* Keep speaking life and healing over her, and trust that God is working even when we cannot see it. If you have not already, anoint her with oil in the name of the Lord, as **James 5:14-15** instructs: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*

Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the authority to pray effectively. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) And **Acts 4:12** tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If this sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge her to place her faith in Him today. Salvation and healing are found in Him alone. For all who believe, we have the confidence that our prayers are heard because we come in His name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister who is facing this battle with oral cancer and other health challenges. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her surgery tomorrow. Guide the medical team with Your wisdom and let every decision made be according to Your perfect will. We pray for supernatural healing—remove every cancerous cell from her body and restore her mouth, her blood sugar, her blood pressure, and her immune system to full health. Let her recovery be swift and without complication, and may her testimony bring glory to Your name.

We also pray for her faith to be strengthened through this trial. Fill her with Your peace and assurance that You are with her every step of the way. Surround her with Your presence and let her feel the love and support of Your people. Lord, we rebuke fear, pain, and doubt in Jesus’ name, and we declare that she will walk in victory and health.

Father, if there is any area of her life that needs surrendering to You, reveal it to her and give her the grace to obey. Draw her closer to You through this experience, and let her life be a light that points others to Your goodness.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). May Your will be done in her life, and may she experience Your healing power in a mighty way. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.
