We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this workplace that is in desperate need of godly leadership and order. Father, Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33 that You are not a God of confusion, but of peace. Yet we see chaos and disorder reigning in this place, where those who resist authority are making things difficult for others. Lord, we pray that You would expose any unrighteousness and bring Your perfect order to this situation.
We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and lawlessness that has taken root among those who refuse to submit to proper authority. Scripture is clear in Romans 13:2 that whoever resists authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will receive judgment. Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are resisting, that they may see the error of their ways and turn from their rebellion. Let them understand that true freedom comes from submitting to godly authority, not from operating in chaos.
We also lift up the individual who was previously selected during the nullified interviews. Lord, if it is Your will for this person to return, we ask that You would open the doors for them to be called back. Let Your hand guide the process, and let no evil plans or schemes of those who seek to undermine Your will prevail. We declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17.
Father, we pray earnestly for the new boss who will be interviewed and hired for this department. We ask that You would raise up a leader who fears You, who walks in integrity, and who has a heart for righteousness. Let this person be someone who does not condone evil but stands firmly on Your Word. We pray that they would have a heart for the youth, a vision for change, and a desire to see this world transformed for Your glory. Give them wisdom, discernment, and courage to lead with justice and fairness, as Proverbs 29:2 tells us that when the righteous thrive, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.
Lord, we ask that You would prepare the hearts of those who will be interviewing this candidate. Let them recognize the person You have chosen, not based on worldly standards, but on Your divine selection. May this new leader be someone who seeks Your will in all things, who leads with humility, and who is not afraid to stand for what is right, even when it is unpopular.
We also pray for the specific department mentioned and for the area where this request comes from. Father, let Your peace reign in these places. Bring unity, order, and productivity under the leadership of this new boss. Let there be a spirit of cooperation and respect among the staff, and let any division or strife be broken in the mighty name of Jesus.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would work in the hearts of everyone in this workplace. Let them see the importance of submitting to authority, not as a burden, but as a blessing. Let them understand that godly leadership is a gift from You, meant to guide, protect, and edify. May this workplace become a place where Your name is honored, where Your principles are upheld, and where Your people can thrive in peace and purpose.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we can be saved. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and we declare that Your will shall be done in this situation. Amen.
