AmenWe come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is battling tuberculosis while also facing the pressures of upcoming exams. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this beloved child of Yours. Strengthen their body, Lord, and restore their health swiftly. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also ask for Your peace and clarity of mind as they prepare for their exams. Calm their anxieties and fill them with Your wisdom, for You have promised that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, and You will give it generously (James 1:5). Help them to focus, retain what they have studied, and trust in You for the outcome.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus. We command this tuberculosis to leave their body now, in Jesus’ name. We pray for a complete and speedy recovery, not just for their sake, but so that they may glorify You in their healing and testimony.
Father, we also want to gently remind this dear one that true healing and salvation come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We encourage them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, and they will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also lift up their spiritual well-being. May this trial draw them closer to You. Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround them with Your presence, comfort, and strength. Provide them with godly support—believers who can pray with them, encourage them, and remind them of Your promises.
We pray for their family and loved ones as well. Give them peace and patience as they walk alongside this dear one. Help them to be a source of encouragement and faith, pointing always to You, Lord.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, Redeemer, and Savior, we pray. Amen.
