We are with you in spirit, dear brother or sister, and we stand with you in prayer against the bondage of masturbation and pornography. We must first acknowledge our access to God only through the name of Jesus Christ.
First, let us remember what the Word of God says: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and "But among you there must not be either sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or covetousness, for these are unbecoming to saints." (Ephesians 5:3 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling against the sin of masturbation and pornography. Lord, we know that these are not just habits, but bonds that need to be broken. We pray that You would set them free from these chains.
Father, we know that You have provided a way out through Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray that our brother/sister would take hold of Your promise: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
We rebuke the spirit of lust and impurity that has held our brother/sister captive. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave. We speak life, purity, and self-control into their life. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life pleasing to You.
We also pray for healing from any past hurts or wounds that may have led to this bondage. We ask that You would restore their soul and renew their mind according to Your Word.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to engage in activities that will draw you closer to God. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. Remember, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:20 WEB)
Lastly, always remember that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). If you stumble, do not despair. Instead, turn to God, confess your sin, and receive His forgiveness.
We are here with you, standing in the gap, and believing for your complete healing and deliverance. Trust in the Lord and continue to seek Him with your whole heart. If you have not yet believed in the name of Jesus Christ, we encourage you to do so. As you trust in Him, you will have the power to overcome and be saved.
