My friend Hal was laid off in October. He has many problems with his health, recovering from cancel, short term memory loss. He did apply for social security disability but it takes a long time. He got a job only to be let go after 7 weeks, because he just can't physically or mentally handle a job. He now cannot receive unemployment because he is seeking disability and if you are not available for work you can't get unemployment. He is a Christian but he is at his wits end. He has no money coming in and is very despondent. He talked to his lawyer and his doctor again today and they have done all they can. He needs some income and even though he does not want to be disabled he really is and needs to get the social security payments. I am not sure if he can with stand much more. He really needs help and could use prayers.
