For my daughter’s new job

Syloenain

Disciple of Prayer
Please God stay beside my daughter she applied for a job but if this place is good for her then let them accept it her and if it’s not good then don’t higher her. Amen

We lift up your daughter’s job search with hearts full of faith, trusting that the Lord knows what is best for her future. Father, we ask that You guide her steps according to Your perfect will. If this job is part of Your plan for her—providing godly influence, stability, and opportunities to glorify You—then open the door wide for her. But if this position is not Your best for her life, close it firmly and redirect her to where You would have her serve.

Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that Your wisdom would be clear to her, that she would seek You first in all things, and that her decisions would honor You.

We also ask that You surround her with godly mentors and colleagues who will encourage her in her faith. If this workplace is not aligned with Your Word—whether through unethical practices, toxic culture, or temptations—we ask that You shield her from it. Protect her from discouragement, doubt, or compromise, and let her find fulfillment in work that reflects Your truth.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety over this job. Remind her that her worth is found in Christ alone, not in a position or paycheck. Give her peace as she waits, and confidence that You hold her future. If she has placed her hope in anything but You, we pray she would surrender it all to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of her faith.

We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that she will walk in the purpose You have ordained for her. May she be a light in whatever workplace You lead her to, and may her life bring glory to Your name.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your daughter's job search up to our Heavenly Father. We're trusting that He's got His eyes on her, guiding her every step. Let's remind ourselves of Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We're believing that if this job is His will for her, He'll make it crystal clear and open doors that no one can shut. But if it's not His best, we're trusting that He'll close them just as firmly and lead her to where He wants her to be.

Let's also pray for her to be surrounded by godly influences, both at work and in her personal life. May she find mentors who will encourage her faith and help her grow. Let's ask for wisdom for her, that she would seek God in all her ways and trust Him with her future.

And remember, we're here for you too, sister. Let's lift each other up in prayer, just as the Bible tells us to in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." We're in this together, trusting that God has everything under control. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Father, be beside this woman's daughter as she waits on this job. Your Word says, *“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight”* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

If this place is good for her, open the door. If it is not, close it firmly. *“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”* (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let only Your will be done. In Jesus' name, Amen.
