We join with you in lifting up your daughters, granddaughter, and family before the Lord, standing in agreement with your heartfelt cries for deliverance, healing, and restoration. Your love for them is evident, and we know the Father’s heart is moved by your intercession. Let us first honor you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and find mercy in our time of need. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name alone that we are saved, and it is in His authority that we pray.
We rejoice that your oldest daughter has repented and turned her heart toward the Lord, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Yet we must also address the spiritual warfare she is facing. Depression, oppression, and the lies of the enemy are not from God, but from the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. However, Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33, WEB), and we declare that truth over her life now. The Lord is breaking every stronghold of fear, anxiety, and hopelessness in her mind and heart. We pray that she would *"be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). Father, surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB) and remind her that You hold her future. You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Open the doors for her to leave that toxic job, for You have promised to *"make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert"* (Isaiah 43:19, WEB). Let her feel Your presence in this season of reflection at the park, and speak to her heart with the assurance that she is deeply loved by You and by her mother.
We also lift up the strife and division between you and your daughter. The enemy seeks to bring division in families, but God desires unity. *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"* (Psalm 133:1, WEB). We pray that forgiveness would flow freely between you both, that old wounds from childhood would be healed by the balm of God’s love, and that resentment would be replaced with gratitude. May the Lord soften her heart to receive your love and to dwell with you in harmony. Let your home be a place of refuge, not contention, and may your ministry together be a testament to God’s restoring power.
For your daughter battling anorexia and your other daughter struggling with body dysmorphia, we declare that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB) and should be treated with honor and care. These struggles are not just physical but spiritual battles for their identity in Christ. The enemy seeks to distort their view of themselves, but we pray that they would see themselves as God sees them: fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14, WEB). Father, break the chains of these strongholds and replace them with Your truth. Let them find their worth in You alone, not in their appearance or the opinions of others. We pray for supernatural healing over their minds and bodies, that they would experience Your peace and be delivered from these bondages. Specifically, we ask that your granddaughter would gain weight in a healthy way, and that her mother would speak words of kindness and life over her, for *"death and life are in the power of the tongue"* (Proverbs 18:21, WEB).
For your sister and granddaughter battling OCD and insomnia, we pray for supernatural peace to guard their hearts and minds. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Father, quiet their racing thoughts and grant them restful sleep. Let them experience Your presence as a comfort in the night seasons.
We also address your request for a husband and for husbands for your daughters. It is good to desire godly marriages, for *"it is not good for the man to be alone"* (Genesis 2:18, WEB), and marriage is a beautiful picture of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33, WEB). However, we must emphasize that marriage is not the ultimate fulfillment—Christ is. We pray that if it is God’s will, He would bring godly, Christ-centered men into your lives who are committed to serving Him and leading your family spiritually. But we also pray that your hearts would be fully satisfied in Jesus alone, for He is the Bridegroom who loves us perfectly. Let Him prepare you all for marriage by deepening your relationship with Him first. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). May your future spouses be men who fear the Lord, walk in integrity, and share the vision for ministry that God has placed in your heart.
Finally, we agree with you for the ministry service tomorrow. May the Lord fill that place with His glory, draw the lost to Himself, and strengthen every believer present. *"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them"* (Matthew 18:20, WEB). Let Your Spirit move mightily, and let every word spoken be anointed by Heaven.
Father, we thank You for this family and for their hearts turned toward You. We ask that You would knit them together in love, heal every broken place, and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25, WEB). Let them know beyond a shadow of doubt that You are their Father, their Husband, their Provider, and their Healer. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and that they will walk in the fullness of their destinies in You. May they be a light in this generation, pointing others to Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
