We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties you are facing with your daughter-in-law ### and the impact it is having on your relationship with your grandchildren. Let us first bring this situation to the Lord in prayer.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention in this delicate family matter. We pray for ###, that You would soften her heart and change her attitude towards her husband's family. Remove the selfishness, pride, grudges, hatred, and favoritism that have taken root in her heart. Help her to see the value and importance of maintaining strong family ties, especially with her husband's family. We ask for a miracle of reconciliation and restoration in Jesus' name.
We also pray for your son, that his eyes would be opened to the truth about how his wife is treating his side of the family. Give him the courage and wisdom to address this issue with love, patience, and firmness. Help him to be the leader in his home, following the example of Christ in his marriage and family life.
In all this, we pray for unity and understanding from ###. We as Christians believe that the family is the first ministry. It is also Biblical that a wife submit to her husband as unto the Lord. We pray for ### in her role as a wife and mother. May the Lord guide her in the way she should go.
We also pray for you, that you would remain patient, loving, and forgiving throughout this process. We know that this is a difficult situation, but we trust that God is working behind the scenes to bring about His will for your family.
Remember, as it is written in Ephesians 5:21-33 (WEB):
"subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
Finally, we must address that this prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB):
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
And in Acts 4:12 (WEB):
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father.
We will continue to pray for you and your family, trusting that God will bring about His will in this situation. May you find peace and comfort in His unfailing love.
