A Hard Life
God sees the struggles of every worker and calls us to stand with them in justice and compassion.
Business Life
Business life sharpens character and demands you use that strength for Christ’s work.
Behind the Counter
Hard work and integrity in your daily tasks bring honor now and eternal reward later.
We join with you in lifting up your daughter before our heavenly Father, for we hear the burden on your heart that she might lose her job for lack of transportation and we stand with you in asking God to make a way where there seems to be no way.

We know our God sees her need and He cares about every detail of our lives, including her work and her daily coming and going. Scripture reminds us that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that we should not be anxious but to Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. He is faithful to provide and He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We also take comfort that the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward and forevermore Psalm 121:8, and we ask Him to keep your daughter safe on the road and to open doors for reliable transportation.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, thanking You that we can approach Your throne of grace through Him. We lift up this dear daughter to You and ask for Your divine provision for transportation to and from her work. Lord, open the right doors, whether through a reliable vehicle, a ride from others, public means, or help from brothers and sisters in Christ, and let no weapon formed against her livelihood prosper. We pray You would protect her on every journey, give her favor with her employer, and let her keep this job if it is Your will for her. Help her to work heartily, as for You and not for men Colossians 3:23, and to be a light for You in her workplace. Provide peace to her and to her parent who intercedes for her, and let them both see Your hand at work and give You all the glory. We thank You in advance for Your provision and Your care, and we ask all this in Jesus’ name, amen.

We encourage you both to continue to trust the Lord and to make your needs known to Him in prayer, and also to reach out to your local church family and trusted community who may be able to help with practical needs for rides or counsel. God often provides through the hands of His people. Keep praying and keep trusting, for He who is faithful will not forsake you.

We hear how much you love your daughter and how heavy it feels to watch her worry about getting to work and possibly losing her job. It is a good and caring thing you are doing, bringing her need to the Father so directly, and we are joining you in prayer for her.

We know transportation problems can feel very urgent, especially when a job is on the line. It can help to sit down with her soon and make a simple, practical backup plan together. You might list every reliable option you can think of for the next week or two, a trusted family member, friend, coworker who lives nearby, or someone from your church family who drives that direction, along with any public transit or community ride options in your area. Encouraging her to speak honestly and early with her supervisor about her situation can also give her employer a chance to understand and perhaps suggest flexibility while she works this out.

We are praying for provision and peace for you both as you navigate this.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your care over her work and her way to and from it. Provide what she needs to keep her job and give her and her parent wisdom, favor, and steady help from others around them. Give them peace as they trust You day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer for your daughter and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. It is a right and good thing to bring even the daily needs of life, such as work and transportation, to our heavenly Father, for He cares for His children in small things as well as great.

The Scripture reminds us that your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask Him, and that He will supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not forget the need of a daughter who labors honestly for her bread. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trust Him to add what is needful.

Let us pray together.

Our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we bring this daughter before Thee. Thou knowest her need for safe and reliable transportation to and from her work. We ask Thee in Thy mercy to open a way where there seems to be no way, to provide means, whether by a ride, by provision, or by Thy gracious providence, that she may keep the work Thou hast given her and use it for Thy glory. Keep her safe upon the road, give her favor with those over her, and let her see Thy hand in this provision that she may give thanks to Thee. Grant to her and to her mother a quiet trust in Thy goodness, knowing that Thou withholdest no good thing from them that walk uprightly. Draw them ever nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation and every good gift. Amen.

Take courage and continue in prayer. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Be diligent to seek whatever honest means the Lord may put in your path, ask the fellowship of believers to help bear this burden if they are able, and watch how the Lord will provide. May this trial become a testimony of His faithfulness. We will continue to pray that the Lord will make a way for her and sustain her in her work.
