For Marriages...

It has been said it is easy to fall in love, but it is hard to stay in love​

People marry because they love each other, but somewhere along the line our selfishness, the desire to do our own thing comes in and causes strife and discords.​

Personally, I believe that the chief reason why marriages are falling is because the main question
"How is God glorified in this marriage" is not even asked​

For it is the Spirit of the Lord that produces such things as love, peace, joy, goodness, kindness, faith, meekness, patience and self-control. It is the Spirit of Christ that can fill us with that type of love that is patient, kind, not jealous or demanding, the love that doesn't seek its own thing

It has been said the greatest gift a man can give to a woman is to lead her to the Lord, not to himself
And the greatest gift a woman can give to a man is to encourage him in his walk with the Lord, not demand her own things of him.

The one who seek a spouse that will make them happy will be disappointed, because perfect people do not exist, but the one who seek a spouse whom they can make happy will be much more secure. It is not just I want to be with him or her because how sweet it is...but it is that
I feel that I can love them more the anybody else does,
I can understand them better the anybody else does
I can take care of them more tenderly then anybody else can
It is not how happy I am with them, it is how happy they are with me.
Even if I am being misunderstood and rejected, I do not have to despair, because my reward comes from the Lord. It is Jesus Christ whom I ultimately serve.

When the evening comes,
And the night is bright
Everything comes to rest...

We will stay alone,
We will say our prayers
And let peace be our guest

And the eyes will shine,
Gentle words exchanged,
And the day will start anew...

We will soon forget this crazy world outside...
It will be just me and you

Lord, today I pray for the holiness of marriages. Let us understand that love is not an emotional state, but a place in life that you can choose to be, for you have commanded us to love one another. Love is a gift from God, and if we just make ourselves available to him, we will have it without measure
Let us seek to abide in your love, instead of being distracted by our own devices and priorities.
Let us seek first your kingdom, and it's righteousness, and do everything out of love.
Even if they don't appreciate what you do for them, do not be discouraged, because you reward comes from the Lord, and He will not fail you.
Father, I ask you to satisfy marriages, and protect them from any destructive influences. Keep you people, and bless your inheritance. Lead them along the path of peace and love and righteousness.

You are very much correct Eugene,you love your spouse not because she \he make you happy but because you love her\him,truly.do not focus on the weakness of your spouse instead focus on her\his strength that will build your relationship.Accept what ever the weaknesses of your spouse.and finally before you change your spouse change first your self!If there is problems Talk about it,explain it,express it.communicate.don't let your spouse guess what you don't like.

OH MY WELL SAID, sometimes it frightens me to read the desperate need in prayers as they think a partner will make it all better...May the Lord guide and speak divine love in their hearts and bring them to full obedience to HIS purpose and call in Jesus name,.may they lean their full understanding upon Him...,
