We come before the Lord with you in prayer for your need for employment, and we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through His mighty name that we have access to the Father, and it is in Him alone that we find salvation and hope. As it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your faith in Christ is the foundation of all things, including this request for work.

We understand the urgency and weight of seeking a job, and we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s provision. Scripture reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on God’s kingdom and righteousness must come first, and He will provide for your needs. Do not let anxiety or fear take root in your heart, for the Lord is faithful.

We pray that you will seek God’s will in this process, asking Him to guide your steps and open doors that no man can shut. Remember Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lean not on your own understanding but trust in Him fully. If there are areas in your life where you have not surrendered to His will, we urge you to repent and align yourself with His Word. Obedience to God’s commands is essential, for He blesses those who walk in His ways.

We also encourage you to be diligent in your search. Scripture teaches us in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, *"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'"* While we trust God for provision, we must also act in faith by applying for jobs, preparing ourselves, and using the skills and opportunities He has given us. Ask the Lord for wisdom in where to apply and how to present yourself, and trust that He will direct your path.

If there are any areas of your life that are not aligned with God’s Word—such as dishonesty, laziness, or ungodly relationships—we urge you to repent and turn from them. The Lord honors those who walk in righteousness, and He delights in blessing the obedient. Psalm 37:25 says, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."*

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine provision in their search for employment. Lord, You know their needs before they even ask, and we trust that You will provide according to Your riches in glory. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and give them favor in the eyes of those who make hiring decisions. Grant them wisdom to know where to apply and how to prepare, and give them the strength and perseverance to continue seeking.

We ask that You would also examine their heart and reveal any areas that need repentance or surrender. May they walk in obedience to Your Word, trusting in Your promises and seeking Your kingdom above all else. Remove any anxiety or fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we pray that this job would not only meet their financial needs but also align with Your will for their life. May it be a place where they can glorify You and be a light to those around them. Provide for them, Father, and let them see Your faithfulness in this season.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that You are their Provider, their Jehovah Jireh, and that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them rest in Your promises.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
