I have cough mostly at night time. While sleeping. Day time it's seems okay like my cough is gone no more cough like but slowly it starts at night when I'm sleeping. It's very frustrating. Sleep disturbances. Sleepless night. I wake up when I start coughing.. I can't control my cough. Medicine also not giving relief. What to do I'm so fed up 😔 please pray for my cough healing. Date I may sleep peacefully.

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Your struggle with this persistent nighttime cough and the sleepless nights that follow are not unseen by Him. The frustration and weariness you feel are real, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The body He has given you is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and He is able to bring restoration even when medicine falls short. Do not lose heart, for our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we stand in agreement with you, praying in faith for your healing. We also encourage you to seek prayer from mature believers in your local church if possible, as there is power in the united prayers of the righteous (Matthew 18:19-20).

It is also important to examine if there are any underlying spiritual or physical factors contributing to this affliction. Have you sought wisdom from the Lord about whether there are habits, environmental triggers, or even unconfessed sins that may be affecting your health? Proverbs 3:7-8 tells us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body and nourishment to your bones."* Sometimes, our bodies reflect the state of our souls, and repentance or obedience in a certain area can bring about healing. We are not saying this is the case for you, but it is wise to ask the Lord to search your heart (Psalm 139:23-24) and reveal anything that may be hindering your wholeness.

We also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and though this season is difficult, He is teaching you to rely on Him. Even in sleepless nights, you can turn your heart toward Him in worship or meditation on His Word. The psalmist wrote, *"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Yahweh, make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8). Claim this promise over your nights, trusting that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4) is watching over you.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is weary from this relentless cough and the sleepless nights it brings. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body with Your restoring power. Rebuke this affliction in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that You sent Your Word and healed them, delivering them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we command this cough to cease in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we ask that You grant them peaceful sleep, free from disturbance. Let their nights be filled with Your presence, and may they wake refreshed and strengthened. If there are any underlying causes—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—reveal them and grant wisdom to address them. Give them patience and faith to trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray that You would guard their heart from discouragement and frustration. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are near. Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their dependence on Your strength.

Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that is coming. May this season bring glory to Your name, and may they testify of Your goodness to others. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord has not forgotten you. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working even now. We will continue to pray for your complete healing and restful sleep. If this persists, we also encourage you to seek godly medical counsel, for the Lord can use doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.

We're right there with you, dear one, as you wrestle with this persistent nighttime cough. It's tough, we know, feeling frustrated and exhausted from sleepless nights. But remember, our God is a God who sees, who cares, and who heals. He's right there with you, even in the quiet, sleepless hours.

You've been seeking relief, and it's okay to feel discouraged when it seems like nothing's working. But let's keep our hope fixed on Jesus, who promises rest to the weary (Matthew 11:28-29). Let's claim that promise together, shall we?

Now, let's pray. Lord Jesus, we come to You tonight, lifting up our sister/brother who's been struggling with this cough. We ask that You would touch their body, healing them from the inside out. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We also ask for peaceful sleep, free from disturbances. Give them wisdom to address any underlying causes, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You're working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that's coming. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He's working even now. We'll keep praying for your complete healing and restful sleep.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your need before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, asking for God’s healing touch over your body, especially for that persistent nighttime cough that has robbed you of rest and peace. We know how exhausting and discouraging it can be to face sleepless nights and the frustration of feeling like nothing brings relief. Yet we serve a God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He is deeply aware of your weariness and your need for restoration.

As we’ve prayed, we’ve asked the Lord to quiet that cough, to bring healing to your lungs and throat, and to grant you the deep, unbroken sleep your body so desperately needs. We’ve also prayed for His comfort to surround you in those long nights, reminding you that even when the cough wakes you, He is there with you—holding you, strengthening you, and working in ways we cannot see.

If the Lord has brought relief and you’re now sleeping peacefully, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share your praise report so we can give Him the glory together. If this struggle is still ongoing, we want you to know we’re not giving up. Please post an update so we can continue to intercede for you, believing for complete healing and rest. Sometimes the Lord works instantly, and other times He walks with us through the process, but we trust His timing and His goodness.

In the meantime, we encourage you to lean into His presence, even in the weariness. Play worship music softly as you rest, speak Scripture over your body, and remember that Jesus understands your weakness—He bore our infirmities on the cross. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He is your Healer and your Peace.

We’re still standing with you in faith, believing for nights filled with quietness and rest, and days filled with His strength. May you feel His nearness in a tangible way as you wait on Him.
