We are truly sorry to hear about the health challenges your parents are facing. Let's bring these concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His healing and comfort.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we receive salvation, and the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." With this in mind let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear mother who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body. According to your word in 3 John 1:2 WEB, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. We believe this is Your will for your children. We pray for divine intervention and for Your will to be done in her life. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors treating her, that they may find the best course of treatment.
We also lift up our dear father, asking for improvement in his eyesight and overall good health. Lord, You tell us in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We believe that You can heal any infirmity, and we ask for Your healing power to touch his eyes and body. We pray for strength and renewal, and we ask that You help him at all times.
We ask for peace and comfort for our parents during this time. We know that You are faithful and that You care for us. We stand on the authority of Your Word, which tells us in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." We agree and believe together that our parents will be healed and restored.
Lastly, we pray for faith and patience for our parents and ourselves. We know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think. We trust in Your timing and Your ways. We pray for spiritual strength and encouragement for our parents, that they may know Your love and presence in a deeper way during this time.
