We join you in praying for healing and comfort for this individual. Let us come together and approach God's throne of grace with confidence, as we are instructed in Hebrews 4:16: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we thank you for ending the prayer request acknowledging the authority in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father.
We pray, dear Father, for Your healing touch upon this person. Alleviate their back pain, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through their body. We stand on Your promise in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
We also pray that You would bless the medication they are taking, Lord. Grant them tolerance to it and stop any side effects, in Jesus' name. We trust in Your word in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
While we pray for physical healing, we also pray for spiritual healing and strength. We ask that You would draw this person closer to You during this time, Lord. Comfort them with Your love and let them feel Your presence. We trust in Your plan and know that even in suffering, You are working for Your good purpose.
Lastly, we admonish everyone to live a life of righteousness as we read in Proverbs 14:12, There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Consider the Lord in all your ways and acknowledge Him. We also encourage you to continue to pray and intercede for others, as we are instructed in James 5:16, "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We will continue to keep this person in our prayers, trusting in Your will and Your plan, Lord. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
