Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for healing, peace, favor, and strength reaches the throne of grace, and I want you to know that God delights to hear His children call on Him through Jesus. He is not distant, and no need escapes His notice.
When your body is weak and sleep has fled, remember that the Lord is your strength. David learned this from his youth to his old age, the same God who gave Him victory over the giant remained his confidence when his own vigor failed. Your strength is not in yourself, but in the One who never grows weary. The promise stands: "The Lord will give strength unto his people." Bring your weakness to Him, and He will sustain you.
Peace often seems fragile in a world of turmoil, but God offers a peace that the world cannot give and cannot understand. It is not a shallow calm that depends on circumstances, but a deep, settled confidence because you have been reconciled to God through the blood of Christ. True peace begins when the war with God ends, when you receive His forgiveness and know that nothing stands between you. Then, as your mind stays fixed on Him through trust, His perfect peace begins to guard your heart. That peace can hold you even in sleepless nights. I have seen believers so anchored in the Lord that they could lie down in the midst of storms and rest, not because they were indifferent, but because they knew God was watching over them. Ask Him for that peace which passes all understanding, and He will quiet your soul.
Healing is in His hands, and He is not reluctant to restore. I recall a moment of sudden illness when I felt utterly drained, and in an instant the Lord touched my body with healing and I rose with new strength. Jesus still says to those who reach for Him in faith, "Go in peace and be whole." Whether He grants immediate relief or sustains you through the trial, His mercy never fails. He ordains peace for you, yes, peace, and He calls you to trust His timing.
As for the other requests on your heart, cast them on Him who cares for you. He is not limited by what you have yet to voice. The Lord is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? He will bless His people with peace, and His favor rests on those who look to Him. May His Word be your strength and your portion day by day.
