For everything there is a season.

God has given to all of us an opportunity to be a blessing to others. It is time to find out what those opportunities are.

1. Smile, be friendly and share Jesus with them.
2, Pitch in when someone is in need. You are the hands of Jesus. He said. I was hungry and you gave me food.
3. Volunteer in feeding the hungry. Lots of people lost their job. Some of them roam the streets. Open a soup kitchen and feed them.
4. Be a mentor to a lonely child. Most parents work 12 hours a day. Children are left alone at home. Be a friend to them and teach them Gods word.

It is the right season to help others and be a blessing to our nextdoor neighbors.

If I can help somebody as I pass along, if I can cheer somebody with a word or song, if I can show somebody he’s traveling wrong, then my living will not be in vain. If I can do my duty as a Christian ought, if I can bring salvation to a world once wrought, if I can spread the message as the master taught, then my living will not be in vain.
MLK~ in a sermon preached at Ebenezer Baptist Church and replayed at his funeral.
