for everything there is a season and each one of us has their own season, so if you are single do not envy the season of others (the married) and if your marriage looks like it's not working out now, don't envy those that are in the Romeo and Juliet season, yours is coming remember no one has it all! why do some regions of the Earth have sunshine and others moonlight? why does the sun and moon not show up at the same time? envy is a symptom of lack of appreciation of our own uniqueness and self-worth.

You are so right. My jealousy over my sister's happy marriage right after I had ended an abusive relationship and was (and still am) single ate me alive. It also caused me to do some things I now truly regret. There is definitely a reason God told us coveting is a sin. It is also a total waste of your time and your life and actually blocks out your chances for any real happiness.

am glad you realized sooner....it is a sin but since we are all human we all have envied someone once or twice in our lives before..u know and some times thats what make us fight for some thing better in our lives but others just dwell on the envy and its negative energies instead of celebrating the success and happiness of others..in order for them to celebrate with us when the time comes u know..
