We are saddened to hear about your child's cold and cough. We want to remind you that God cares about our health and well-being, and we can come to Him in prayer, especially for protection during this weather change.
Firstly, let's pray for healing for your elder son. We know that God is our healer, as it says in Psalm 103:2-3, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We pray that God will heal your child and grant him a strong immune system.
Dear Lord, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, and we ask for Your healing touch upon this child. Please relieve him of the cold and cough, and strengthen his immune system. Help him to recover quickly and completely, so he can return to school and his normal activities.
Secondly, we pray for protection for both of your sons and the whole family. Jesus Christ said Matthew 18:19-20, Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
Our Heavenly Father, we ask for Your protection upon this family during this seasonal change. Keep them healthy and strong, and prevent the younger son from catching the infection. Help them to trust in Your care and to experience Your peace.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. Remember that our hope is in Him, and He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Let's also do our part by taking good care of the children's health, ensuring they have proper rest, nutrition, and medical care when needed. The Apostle Paul said in Colossians 3:23-24, And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Please always remember that prayer is our powerful tool offered by Jesus Christ.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
